In a radio interview on NPR’s Press Play with Madeline Brand, Deborah Berke shares her thoughts on how the pandemic will change both home and work spaces. Deborah is joined by writer Kyle Chayka, who also recently interviewed Deborah and wrote in The New Yorker about “How the Coronavirus Will Reshape Architecture.”
When it comes to designing new places for people to live, Berke says she thinks about more outdoor space, larger elevator lobbies, and separate bedrooms. “The idea of loft living is going to change.”
