Breaking Ground at the University of Virginia!

The University of Virginia celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Hotel and Conference Center on October 6th.
The 220,000 square foot project will include 225 guestrooms, conference facilities, and a visitors center. A contemporary interpretation of Jeffersonian thinking, the new Hotel and Conference Center will also serve the campus community—including students, faculty, and staff—as well as visitors and Charlottesville residents, creating a new place to stay amid the vibrant exchange of ideas. The project will anchor the Emmet / Ivy Corridor, and act as a bridge between the North Grounds and Central Grounds.
The Hotel and Conference Center is expected to open Summer 2025.
