On an ideal day, you might find Rong watching the sun rise from the top of a mountain, high above the clouds, and then venturing down to a small town or city to hunt for one-of-a-kind vintage or antique furniture, clothes, and art. Rong is venturesome and inquisitive by nature; she loves to see inside other people’s homes and studios, gaining insight from small personal details and the ways that people use their living and working spaces. Just as a sunrise hike to a mountaintop is no small undertaking, Rong faces challenges head-on, because she knows the view will be worth it.

Rong has worked extensively on large institutional projects in both New York and California. At TenBerke, she has worked on residential housing for Princeton University and is currently leading building core and shelf coordination efforts with major building systems for Brown University’s new integrated life sciences building. Rong received a Bachelor of Architecture at Sichuan University, and a Master of Architecture at Columbia University.
