About the Artist
I began seriously painting during the pandemic when I was completing my junior year of high school virtually from home. I became interested in how the rooms throughout my house look completely different depending on your perspective and how they can be simplified into shapes. I enjoy using the space around me as inspiration to create new spaces on the canvas. I use pictures of friends’ houses, restaurants, buildings on campus, etc. to inspire my artwork. Some of my pieces reflect moments I’ve photographed with my friends, while others reflect rooms I frequent or have only been to only once.
