Type: Hotels / Adaptive Reuse
Theme: Asserting Place / Transforming Old Buildings
In downtown Cincinnati, opposite the Aronoff Center for the Arts and next door to Zaha Hadid’s Center for Contemporary Art, our design for 21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati is a dramatic revision of a historic 1912 hotel building. Saving the few traces of its original grandeur still in tact, we added new spaces to create a thoughtful and textured sequence of rooms.
